what an emotional day

saw very old friends
some for the first time in many years

all of us there
as if we never parted ways
bonds as strong as ever

Jess was cremated
her body was destroyed in the accident

she fell asleep
never felt a thing

thanks be to God.

Lilly Lane
will grow up
to be just like her Mother
Im sure of that

I am sure we have not seen the last of Jess
and that is comforting

today, Christine Harvey
recalled a story to the congregation
as she spoke to pay tribute to Jess

it was a perfect example of why I loved Jess so much
and the amazing quick wit, humor, and personality
that I will forever remember her for

Christine told of the time
when she and Jess went to see "The Notebook"
in theatres
and there was a row of girls sitting behind them
who were bawling their eyes out
as Ryan Gosling rowed the boat
with Rachel McAdams in it
and the birds started to fly away
as the rain came pouring down

and Jess turned around to them and said
in her typical straightforward attitude

"They're just rowing."
